 Do not use retinol/retinoids or tretinoin for at least 7 days before your appointment.​  Stop using AHA/BHA exfoliants (glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid) 5 days before waxing.

They thin the skin and speed up cell turnover, making it too delicate for waxing, particularly on the face

Do not use for 3 days after waxing.
